Frequently Asked

Quick answers.

How do I book a hunt?

Use the booking widget on any "Book A Hunt" button to see live availability and lock in dates, or call Randy directly at (712) 204-2176. A deposit is required to confirm your dates.

What's your deposit and cancellation policy?

A deposit is required to secure your dates; the balance is due before arrival. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another sportsman. Rescheduling may be available based on availability and outfitter discretion.

Do I need a Nebraska hunting license?

Yes. Every hunter must have the appropriate Nebraska license and tags. The Nebraska Game & Parks Commission handles these directly — see outdoornebraska.gov for current fees and online purchase.

Are meals included?

Meals are included with the pheasant all-inclusive package and the Premium-tier whitetail/turkey packages. The Campground Lodge whitetail option is not all-inclusive — bring your own or upgrade.

What's the minimum group size?

Whitetail hunts require a minimum of 2 hunters per booking unless otherwise arranged. Turkey and pheasant hunts are flexible for solo hunters.

Can my group hunt the same lodge?

Yes — one group per lodge is the default. We don't mix unrelated groups under one roof unless you specifically request it.

Do you have UTVs / e-bikes for the property?

Yes. Turkey hunters in particular have access to Polaris UTVs, golf carts, and QuietKat e-bikes for quiet, low-impact travel between setups.

Is there fishing on the property?

Yes — the Camp Lodge has on-site pond access for crappie, catfish, and bluegill. Bring a rod for mid-day downtime.

How far is the property from the nearest airport?

Sioux Gateway Airport (Sioux City, IA) is roughly 25 minutes from Jackson, NE. Eppley Airfield (Omaha) is about 90 minutes. Driving directions provided upon booking.

Can non-hunters come along?

Non-hunting guests are welcome with prior approval. Please ask when booking so we can plan lodging and meals accordingly.

What if weather is rough or birds are slow?

Weather is part of the deal. We'll keep you in productive setups regardless, but we don't guarantee animals. Rescheduling may be possible at outfitter discretion if conditions are extreme.

Do you allow combo hunts?

Potential combo hunt options are available on request — ask Randy when booking. Turkey + pheasant combos work especially well in the spring.
